Coal slime is a coal product with a high moisture content, typically produced as a byproduct during coal production and processing. It mainly consists of coal chunks, fines, and water. With moisture content usually exceeding 30%, coal slime is challenging to utilize in industrial applications. However, through drying processes, its value can be enhanced, enabling applications such as power generation through combustion or brick production.
As a byproduct of coal processing, coal slurry typically has a high moisture content. Coal slime dryers(coal slime rotary drum dryer machines) play a vital role in the treatment of coal slime, effectively reducing its moisture content to enhance its value, promote resource utilization, and protect the environment.
A coal slime dryer is one of the key equipment used for processing coal slurry. It evaporates moisture from the coal slime using hot air or other heating methods, thereby reducing its moisture content. The dried coal slime can be utilized in various industrial fields such as coal slurry combustion for power generation, brick making, soil improvement, environmental remediation, and more.
Featuring a disaggregation structure, movable grate-type wing plates, cleaning devices, and crushing impact dispersing devices, the coal slime rotary drum dryer machine can dry sticky materials that conventional dryers cannot handle. Specifically designed for cohesive filter cake-like materials, it is suitable for large-scale drying of coal slime, washed clean coal, municipal sludge, chloride choline, red mud, biowaste, and other cohesive filter cake materials.
Coal slime with a moisture content of 27%-30%, after drying in the coal slime rotary drum dryer machine, can achieve a final moisture content of 12%-16% and a granule size of approximately 5-20mm, forming loose spherical dried coal slime.
When bentonite drying machine is operated, the law of heat transformation and the effect of gravity play the main role. The drum is set at an angle of about 3-5。. Wet bentonite is conveyed into the higher end of the cylinder by feeding system and falls down into a screen, which favors the efficiency of heat transformation. When the drum rotating, bentonite is raised by the blades and falls. Here heat transformation between scorching wind and wet materials works best. Under the gravity, dried bentonite steps down to the lower end of the drum and is blenched out. In the gradual stepping down, the excessive liquid is removed. There equips a professional dust collector to collect waste gas.
